I booked in July, but the hotel later canceled my reservation unless I paid another $1,700. I hadn’t budgeted for that increase, so I was left with the choice of paying or canceling. Now I have flights, a car, and excursions booked, but no hotel. Do not book here.

We got there on June 17 after two days of travel, only to find the entire complex had no water. No showers, and we couldn’t flush the toilet. They told us to wait half an hour, but we went to dinner and there was still no water anywhere. It was unbelievably frustrating, especially with 6 adults and 7 children.

We arrived Monday at 6 pm, after all the staff had gone home. It took several calls and texts before we reached anyone. They wouldn’t talk on the phone and would only message us. Eventually they sent us to another location, half a mile away. The walls were thin and the neighbors were loud. There were small children screaming all over the family friendly property, which may suit families, but was awful for couples or adults. The service was truly the worst I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I definitely won’t come back.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the pool area was quiet. We enjoyed strolling around, and restaurants were just a quick walk away. Golf, shopping, and restaurants are all in this gated community. Adventuras Club Marina is a great value if you’d rather stay away from resorts but still want a condo with amenities close by. The two bedroom condos are new, clean, and very spacious, with peaceful surroundings. It’s especially good value if you’re traveling with another couple.

We had a fantastic off season visit. The suite was huge, with an excellent kitchen, and we pretty much had the pool to ourselves the whole time. Chedraui is within walking distance, and the services were excellent. Awesome stay!
