After a long bus trip, we reached the hotel around 9:00 pm and learned that it had overbooked. Our confirmed, fully paid reservation would not be honored. A staff member even showed us on the computer that the hotel had received our booking, but said it wasn't appearing in their Cloudbeds system. That's an internal system problem, not the guest's responsibility. There was little effort to sort things out and no apology beyond a brief explanation. It felt as if the easiest solution for them was to refund us and get us out quickly. We were told a room was still available, but instead of letting us stay and dealing with the booking issue the next day, the staff member tried to charge us extra for it, even though the overbooking was the hotel's mistake. So at 9:00 pm in high season, we had to walk around looking for somewhere else. Everything nearby was mostly booked, and the only place we found at short notice cost more and was much lower standard. Overbookings can happen, but the hotel showed no accountability or real willingness to help, leaving paying guests stranded late at night. A confirmed booking here unfortunately may not mean you'll have a room when you arrive.

We visited in early February 2026, when it was relatively quiet and peaceful. There's construction around the property, but it never disturbed us at night. The rooms were clean, the A/C worked, and the pool area was a nice place to cool off. We also found parking nearby and felt safe throughout our stay. The location in La Punta, Puerto Escondido was convenient, with the beach, restaurants, ATM, and main attractions not too far away. The morning coffee service was a great way to start the day. I'd stay here again when I return to Puerto Escondido.

Best hotel of our trip in Mexico. The room was big, clean, and really nice, and the staff were nice too. The pool was lovely. The pillow was too high and uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi in the room wasn't working properly.

The staff were polite and friendly. Angel was always smiling and happy to chat, and gave expert recommendations. I slept better here than anywhere else on vacation. The beds were nice, and it was a welcome change to have a hot shower. It's a beautiful hotel with a superb pool area. The rooms are great, and the location is close to the action in la Punta without the noise and chaos. I was very happy with my stay.

We had no trouble with the hot water, despite seeing comments about it. The rooms were very comfortable, and the service was always polite and cheerful. The beach, restaurants, and bars were all within walking distance. We'd worried the breakfast might be too simple, but it was tasty and fresh, a perfect start to the day. The pool was amazing, clean, and just the right temperature for a swim day or night. Highly recommend staying here, 10/10.
