The private rooms were great, and there was a beautiful area to hang out along with a kitchen. Miguel, the volunteers, and the other guests were super nice and welcoming. It was lovely getting to know them and spending time at the hostel. A great place to stay in Puerto Escondido!

I stayed for a week and had an amazing time. The staff helped us find nice places around town and let us leave our bags there while we went on a short, two-day road trip. The rooftop sunset was beautiful, and you can watch it from one of the hammocks. The place is in the center, so it's a good base for exploring the city, and the staff were great.

The second time I came back, I had no reservation, but they squeezed me in for two more nights! Piña and everyone else were so helpful, and having water available plus coffee in the morning was really nice. Just tell them what time you plan to get up. One booking tip: Booking.com doesn’t charge your card, so bring cash to pay when you arrive. I had such a nice stay, thanks!

Mauricio at the front desk was awesome. He speaks Spanish and English fluently, and helped us with restaurant suggestions, directions, beach information, and any questions or confusion. The location was good, the room was clean, and having a private bathroom was nice. The showers weren’t hot, though it was really hot outside anyway. Thanks, Mauricio!
