The location worked well for us, close to the beach, and housekeeping cleaned every day. The pool was refreshing. Rooms are okay for a night or two, but there’s no TV. It’s noisy at night because there are two or three bars nearby. You get what you pay for.

The rooms are basic, but the price is good and you’re close to everything. They have air conditioning, though it’s odd that there are no televisions. Some rooms look out at the ocean, but most of the view is blocked by another hotel that’s under construction. I stayed here in late October.

The beach club is extremely close, and the noise went on until 3am Thursday, 4am Friday, and 8am Saturday, so there was no sleep that night. The aircon didn’t work, and an enormous unfinished concrete building blocked the beach view. The pictures on the hotel webpage are misleading. Internet was poor, and the manager/owner was grumpy and unhelpful. He probably should retire or take a holiday himself. I wouldn’t go back. Half a star would be generous.

The photos make this hotel look much nicer than it is, and the reception was a joke, just a table. The guy working there looked dirty and unpleasant. Our basic room appeared decent in the pictures, but in person it was practically in a dip on the ground floor, with terrible lighting and its view completely blocked by an abandoned construction site. There was a little patio, but its door was locked. The staff member said the previous guest had taken the key, so we couldn’t use it. We had to pay extra to change rooms. The new one was more decent, though nothing special, and it smelled bad because of the drainage.
