The Eden by Desire Riviera Maya – All Inclusive, Exclusively for Couples

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked an extra day because we couldn’t face leaving yet. We arrived as a married couple looking for a fun getaway and went home with memories we’ll cherish. The welcoming atmosphere found a great balance between relaxing and lively, and the connections we made felt genuine. The staff took real care throughout the resort. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and the cleaning team kept everything immaculate. Edgar at the coffee bar by the gym was attentive and made great coffee. Carlos gave my wife a massage she won’t forget. Jorge waited on us at Suki one night and then at the Melange bar each night after the hot tub activities. He always had our BLT ready with the bacon burnt, just as we asked. He’s incredibly nice, and we hope to see him next time. The resort exceeded our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to going back.

We stayed on the newer Eden side this time, and it felt upscale with everything brand new. Our poolside server Africa was welcoming and attentive. The butlers, maid service, Playmakers, and other staff were wonderful from the moment we arrived. We had a great visit and will be back as soon as we can. Until next time, Mexico 🇲🇽

Eden’s rooms are beautiful and modern, and our private swim-out suite gave us a nice break from the heat. It was the perfect place to unwind with my husband. The resort service was top notch: C at the pool helped us get a great cabana for the Friday foam party, and Africa, Eduardo (“Boots”), and Jussif kept up attentive pool service all week. Our butlers, Abel and Daniel, also made sure we got prime dinner times. The food was fresh and delicious, and Kahlo was our favorite restaurant. We went three times. I’ll miss the fresh papaya every morning, along with the lavazza macchiatos and chocolate croissants in the morning and for an afternoon siesta.

We had a Diamond room again, and it was amazing from start to finish. We arrived early to enjoy the whole first day, and the lobby staff welcomed us like they always do. Meghan at the check-in desk is consistently helpful. We’ve never had a bad experience with anyone in the lobby. Mike and Erika were our main butlers, taking care of our needs and making sure we had a great time. LaFranc, G, Daniel, Abel, Guatemala, Yuri, and plenty of others were always ready to help. By the pool, Africa was moving at high speed to make sure everyone had what they needed, and Eduardo checked on us often. The bartenders, including Axel, Gustavo, Noe, Jesus, Ivan, and Carlos, kept the drinks coming. Cesar, C, Antonio, and Danny helped us get chairs or cabanas and made sure we had towels. Hiromi and Monica were so sweet during the evening shows. The Play Makers, Javi, Pina, Bam Bam, Bella, Chira, and Murico, made the daily activities fun and interactive right into the night. The staff always greet us with “welcome home.” The club music was much better this time, with less techno and more dance and grind music. I only had two small complaints: the Diamond room bathroom lighting was too dim to get ready by, and there weren’t any black lights on in the club for glow/neon night. The outfits and paint only really glowed down at the lobby bar, which took away from the club vibe. More black lights in both spots would help. Those things are minor compared with everything that goes well here.
