The meals and snacks are delicious, all made on site, including homemade baked goods. You eat with the hosts, John and Sandy, who are interesting, knowledgeable, and fun to talk with. Sometimes live musicians have even stopped by. I’ve stayed at Artes several times, both on my own and with a partner, and highly recommend it as a first rate, relaxing place. It’s quiet, with one of the area’s best views over the bay and breathtaking sunsets. The beautiful grounds and facilities include large rooms, private bathrooms, an infinity pool, float tanks, and other spa services. It’s a lovely setting for a retreat or a small business or family gathering.

Sharing family style meals with John, Sandy, and their assistants was a real pleasure. They’re unique, interesting company, and the spa services on site were relaxing and excellent. I left the B&B feeling refreshed, with great memories. I was in town for work and had a fantastic weekend at Artes. John and Sandy were gracious, accommodating hosts. The meals and rooms were incredible, and the bay view can’t be beat. The whole visit felt authentic and more immersive than a typical beach resort. It was well worth going from the beachfront up into the hills.

This is a scam. The place itself doesn’t exist. We booked through Expedia, and it was a lie. The men who were there apparently didn’t tell us that several other people had also been scammed through reservations made on different sites.

Thanks for the lovely service, the bread rolls, the tea, and that excellent view. The dog was very nice too, and the flip-flops.
