Paraiso Motel & Villas

We paid a lot for a stay that wasn't worth it. Water leaked through the ceiling because a shower pipe wasn't working, the Wi-Fi was awful, and the toilet clogged and left the whole room wet. When we told the front desk woman, she didn't care. The owner didn't care either and didn't fix anything. There were bugs in the shower and even a centipede. The owner barely wanted to give us half our money back and acted like it was our fault. He seemed more concerned with being home than fixing the problems. I don't recommend this place at all.

A relative suggested I try this place, and I'm glad I did. It's a great spot with lovely views, a good vibe, and a secure gated setup. The breakfast restaurant by the entrance is awesome too. Highly recommend.

We had a very hard time during our two-month winter stay. The houses are very old and cold, and there were cockroaches everywhere. The electricity kept causing major problems, and we had to change houses because there was no power. Touching the bathroom switches gave us electric shocks, which is obviously dangerous. The staff were disrespectful and very unprofessional. Albierto, the owner, was unprofessional and dishonest too, and didn't return the deposit.

The location and view are nice, and there’s secure parking. The stove had no propane at first; I called, and they brought a tank and connected it. The hot water was the same. I took one cold shower before calling, then they turned the gas back on.
