Quinta Dorada Hotel and Suites

The room was clean and the location was okay, but the beds were hard as a rock. I asked for softer beds, and they told me those were comfortable. The sink leaked, and the shower floor flooded. Holiday Inn charged 1,739 pesos while Quinta dorada was 2700 pesos, and for me there was no comparison with Holiday Inn.

The view is beautiful, especially after sunset, and the pool and its area are clean with a nice design. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful when you need something. The hotel isn’t brand new, but it’s been fairly maintained. The Wi-Fi in the room, though, is nerve-wreckingly bad.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and we stay every time we visit Saltillo. It’s usually a secure place to rest and relax during our trips in Mexico. This year, though, I barely slept the night we stayed. Several nearby rooms were partying, with music, talking, and people walking around until 6 am. If the hotel knows guests are having a party, they shouldn’t put tired travelers looking for rest in the room next to them.

We’ve been staying here for the past 7 years, and security throughout the property is excellent. The staff are professional, and the continental breakfast is great. I especially liked the coffee, which tasted very good and was good quality. Rooms have a modern, elegant style, with cushy mattresses and pillows. The bathroom is quite small, but functional and stylish. This family-oriented hotel is a complete bargain at a very affordable price. I strongly recommend it for business or pleasure.
