The Wi-Fi could be better, but the place is comfortable and really clean.

The price was very affordable, and the rooms were excellent. It’s right across from the main garden, too.

You have to find a place to park before you can check in. They won’t open the parking lot unless you’re registering, so there’s nowhere to stop while you do that.

At 6:00 a.m. there was no hot water. I reported it at the front desk, but they said this had NOT happened to them before. The issue never got fixed, so I had to shower cold. Earlier, the cable service wasn’t working either. After nearly an hour and several tries with the desk and manager, they still couldn’t fix it and moved me to another room, saying it had NOT happened before. When I checked out, I asked for compensation and they said they’d review it with the manager. The services didn’t match what I paid for. It was a very bad stay, and I won’t come back.

It’s such a quiet place, and with just eight rooms the boutique hotel has a lovely, almost storybook feel. We were really comfortable there. The staff are friendly and have good suggestions when you ask. We’ll come back when we get the chance.
