The rooms are a little basic and can get cold, but the staff are super friendly and helpful. You can pick from several breakfast options, and book bus tickets or excursions at the hotel. We booked a trip to Sumidero Canyon that seemed very affordable and turned out to be an amazing experience. The location is great, very close to the main square.

Had a really good stay, and the staff were great. The owner speaks French, English, and Spanish, so you can ask for what you need even if you’re not that comfortable in one of those languages. He’s really nice. Thanks again!

We stayed for a week, and the owner flirted with my boyfriend the whole time. Breakfast was very slow too. They forgot my toast, then never apologized when they noticed 30 minutes later.

The doors are loud, and other guests made noise late at night and very early in the morning. You can hear everything. We booked two bus tickets through the hostel after the owner insisted the price matched the bus station. The second ticket cost more, and when I checked online later, both tickets were cheaper. After I complained, he offered no refund or solution. I’d book at the ADO office on the main street or arrange tickets online yourself. Breakfast was fair for the price.

The staff were great and the facilities were okay, but the owners’ attitude felt rude and unwelcoming. We felt rushed out, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here for a long visit.
