I can't recommend this place. Our small room had no window and was damp and smelly, and there seemed to be a rat infestation. At breakfast in the patio, the cleaning lady suddenly poured a bucket of sewage water across the whole patio. It ran under our table, so we had to get up. There are only two shared bathrooms, and in the outdoor one you can hear rats shrieking above you in the ceiling day and night. I'm not easily spooked, but it was too much. When I mentioned it to the host, he said it was normal. It's cheap, but there are much nicer places in the same price range in San Cris.

A full kitchen and lovely decoration, with clean rooms and friendly hosts. It's central but still a quiet place to rest, and the quality is great for a very reasonable price. It would suit couples or families well. I'd be glad to stay here on another visit to San Cristobal.

The room was okay, though a little dark and noisy. The bigger problem was that the host didn't keep her word. She personally said we could extend our stay by one night, then came by at 8am the next morning to say she'd changed her mind and given the room to someone else. We had to check out in a hurry, and our plans were thrown off. I wouldn't rely on anything agreed with her verbally.

Nice, low-key atmosphere, but it felt a little pricey for what you get. There was just one shower and two toilets for quite a few people, so mornings could mean a frustrating wait. The place was very cold.

A small hostel with five private rooms, one shared bathroom and shower, and a separate toilet. There's a shared kitchen and a cool design. The rooms don't have windows straight to the outside, but open onto a naturally lit hall.
