Guayaba Inn Boutique Hotel

The breakfast was complimentary and had plenty of choices, including omelettes, chilaquiles, fresh fruit with yogurt and granola, and local specialties. We were in upstairs suite number eight, with a king size bed, a lounge chair, and a small table with two chairs. There was a charming balcony overlooking a Koi pond, and the bathroom had both a shower and a copper bathtub. The main room also had a little coffee bar with a sink for making drinks and snacks, plus a small refrigerator underneath. All the staff were helpful and proactive. Karina especially stood out and helped us on many occasions. We had such a nice time that we plan to return next year!

We spent 8 days here and loved having it as a haven to come “home” to each day. The rooms were large, the staff fantastic, and the garden and flowers lovely. The location was perfect. For anyone sensitive to noise, there's a fountain that never turns off. It's beautiful, and probably wouldn't bother most people. Our room at the back faced a fairly busy road, though there were no windows onto it and we could still hear traffic. Those things likely wouldn't bother most guests and could be avoided by choosing a different room.

A delightful, beautifully decorated place right at the edge of downtown. You can walk to anything in about 15 minutes.

The garden is probably the best in San Cristobal, full of colorful flowers, a toronjas tree, and some Koï fishes. So relaxing. The room was beautiful, with high-quality bedding, bathroom, and decoration. Everyone working there was smiling and helpful. Big thanks to the breakfast ladies, who were so kind and made delicious food at a good price. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the street with all the restaurants and bars, and you can safely walk there at night.
