Hacienda Valentino

I stayed at Hacienda Valentino over New Year's and picked it because it looked cozy and welcomed pets. I loved the atmosphere, the service, the cute gardens, and the big patio right away. The classic rooms were clean and comfortable, with cozy king-size beds, high-end bedding, and a stylish shower with strong, hot water. In San Cristobal, where it's COLD, I really can't emphasize the hot showers enough. Javier and Tim make the place feel welcoming and friendly, and they pay attention to details. The menu food is delicious, and having a pet menu made traveling much easier since I could feed my dog without stressing over what to do. What made me love the place most was how Javier and Tim made me feel like part of the family. They found a solution for every request. I was incredibly sick during my stay and spent most of my time in bed. When I realized I needed medical attention, they arranged for me to see the right doctor and gave me a plan in case I needed serious care. They also looked after me with warm, nourishing soups that weren't on the menu, and helped me find an acupuncturist for my ailments. Javier even provided their personal driver so I could get there and back safely. It was unforgettable. I've been back to Hacienda Valentino since that New Year's trip, and it's only gotten better. They've expanded and improved the menu, the staff are even friendlier if that's possible, and they keep engaging the community with great events. I eat there whenever I'm in San Cristobal, stay there for overnight visits, and recommend it to friends. I've also come to feel like a friend of Tim and Javier.

On our second stay at Hacienda Valentino, they were just as great as the first time. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms are clean and cozy. It's in the historic part of town, but still quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend Hacienda Valentino.

The food was amazing, and I loved the comfortable bed. I enjoyed every minute at this new boutique hotel, where the owners and staff treat you like family. There's a full bar in a beautiful courtyard, which made the evenings fun. It was easy to walk in the morning to the downtown plaza and shops, and the staff arranged a tour of the Mexican Grand Canyon. I'd recommend the Hacienda Valentino.

The cocktails were delicious, and everyone running the place was so friendly. We slept really comfortably and the location worked perfectly for us. Would absolutely recommend staying here.
