Grand Velas Los Cabos - All Inclusive

The restaurants alone made Grand Velas stand out. Each of the five formal dining spots offered a distinct experience, and every meal felt special. Cocina de Autor was a highlight, with creative, beautifully presented dishes on par with Michelin-level dining. Frida had rich, authentic Mexican food in an elegant setting, Lucca did upscale Italian with deep flavors, and Sen Lin rounded things out with fresh, vibrant Asian cuisine. Oscar, the poolside bartender, also deserves a special mention. His cocktails were some of the best we’ve had, and he brought warmth, energy, and personality to every conversation. By day two, he knew what we liked and had our drinks ready before we asked. From the immaculate property to the seamless service and thoughtful details, Grand Velas exceeded every expectation. It was a five-star stay, and we’ll absolutely return.

This was our third stay at Grand Velas Los Cabos, and it continues to exceed our expectations. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the grounds are beautifully tropical, lush, and immaculately kept. The food was outstanding, with every meal delicious and thoughtfully prepared. For our family, the care for children is what really sets the resort apart. The kids’ club was phenomenal, and the nanny service for our youngest was professional and attentive, giving us complete peace of mind. It’s a luxurious, family-friendly place that delivers on the details, and I can’t recommend it enough.

The kids’ club alone makes this a great place to stay with children. They liked it so much they didn’t want to leave. Even when the hotel is at full capacity it doesn’t feel crowded, the pool stays warm, and the pool bar is great. Grand Velas offers unmatched service. The one drawback is that the beach isn’t really swimmable, though you could probably swim when the water is calm. 10/10, we’ll be back!

We went as a family of four, with kids aged one and seven, and neither wanted to leave. The family duplex room was incredible, if you can book one. The resort is beautiful and peaceful, and our personal assistant made it easy to arrange everything. Claudia, our personal concierge, was so helpful and made the trip much easier. They can also handle all kinds of dietary needs. Every meal was phenomenal, from in-suite dining to the fancy restaurants. We had a private yacht whale-watching tour and a dolphin encounter, both amazing. We fell in love with Cabo, and this was the best vacation we could have asked for. It was worth every penny. We’ll go back in a heartbeat.
