We had great weather during our stay from Dec 26-Jan 4, 2026, but the resort itself was just decent. The beach had a bad undertow and wasn't swimmable, and we found Mama Mias' food below par and expensive, though my son loved the fish tacos on our last day. With the full kitchen, we took an Uber to Costco in cabi san lucas for groceries. The room was okay but dated. Getting hot water was a hassle: we had to run the shower for 30 minutes, and the kitchen sink only got hot on our last day. There was no water purification system, so we had to buy bottled water for the whole stay. Before arriving, we arranged one-way transport through coral baja concierge. They wanted cash as soon as we got to the resort, which used up more than half of the cash we brought for tips. Bring plenty of pesos for tipping, since locals prefer that currency and avoid paying their tax to survive. The timeshare orientation pressure was too much. A week before we left home, the resort concierge promised us a rental car at a great price, so we didn't book one at the airport. But it turned out they wouldn't help with anything unless we attended one of their high-pressure sales meetings. The concierge kept harassing us during the stay and never got us a car. We found one ourselves in town, with no help from them. Two days before checkout, they offered us $400 Canadian to attend a meeting. I said I wouldn't go to a meeting for $4000 Canadian. No means no. We were there on vacation, not to put $50,000 into a timeshare scam. We won't be back anytime soon. We had a much better time at wyndham Alltra Cancun, though it was sold shortly after we left in January 2025.

I wish we'd had longer here. The suite was spotless, the staff were all friendly, and the amenities on site were good. Those plant sculptures were seriously amazing. I didn't even get a chance to use everything, including the tennis court.

The pool was the highlight for us, easily the biggest and best one I've seen at a Worldmark, with plenty of seats. We spent our days there, though there are chairs on the beach too, and sometimes horses come by to offer beach rides. Coral Baja is right on the beach, with grocery stores and a Starbucks nearby. San Jose Del Cabo is a 15-minute drive, Cabo San Lucas is half an hour away, and the airport is also about 30 minutes. Victor, the activity director, brings real energy and charisma to the many activities. There's water aerobics, bingo, and sports with guests, including volleyball and pickleball. On Christmas Eve there was a piñata, photos with Santa, free cookies and hot chocolate, and birthdays too. Outdoor movie nights draw few people, so they're worth checking out. Sports options include pool volleyball, poolside activities, frisbee disc golf, a bowling set, ping pong, mini golf, tennis, basketball, in-pool basketball, pickleball, a pool table, beach volleyball, soccer nets, spike ball, croquet, and bean bag toss. Mama Mia's food is delicious and there's lots to choose from. I especially liked the ceviche, nachos, and chicken strips. Get extra tortilla chips with the nachos. The rooms are clean and spacious, like other Worldmark rooms. For a hot tub, book in the back building, but expect a parking lot view instead of the beach and water. Bottom-level suites in the other buildings also have a limited water view because the pool blocks it. I have to say the sales approach was pushy, and the presentations could be less aggressive. They make you sign a form to decline. One blonde woman kept asking people which activities they wanted to do to persuade them to attend, and it got extremely annoying. A man at La Comer also tried to sell us a deal on a crappy tour in exchange for going to a presentation. That was the one downside of Coral Baja. Watch out for the sharks at the front desk, who are out to get innocent guests, and make sure you know what you're getting into. Still, this is an awesome place with lots of amenities.

I booked this property through my timeshare. The facilities and basic services were fine, and the customer service seemed good at first. Before arrival they even contacted me to help arrange activities and reservations, which sounded useful. Once there, though, they kept pushing us to attend what they called a breakfast, though it was clearly a sales presentation. After I politely declined and said I wasn't interested, their attitude changed. I told them I wouldn't fall for it, and then they canceled or changed activities and reservations they had already arranged for me. I thought that was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I'd advise future visitors to avoid the Concierge services. They may pressure you into that sales breakfast meeting, whatever reason they give. That's what happened to me, and I hope it helps someone else.

We had a wonderful stay in April. The rooms were great, the service was amazing, and there was a great restaurant on site. The resort sits right on the beach and has a lovely pool. They also had all kinds of activities, including an outdoor movie and a fire dancer.
