Update: At breakfast there was no butter. It wasn't a big deal, but I asked at the front desk if they could get some. A staff member rudely said they'd be back with butter in five minutes. Then the same manager who had been rude the night before came over and told me there was no butter. When I asked why staff had said there would be some, she just answered, “no” again. Great customer service. Only come if you're on a very tight budget, leaving first thing in the morning and returning late at night. I'm writing this in my room, listening to construction and beeping. Across the street they're building what looks like a four- or five-story unit, with machines running from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and constant honking. I came to Mexico for a holiday and some calm, but the noise is nonstop. It's so loud I could barely talk to the manager at reception. I added a few pool videos, though the sound doesn't seem to work on them. This week of noise will probably be unbearable for another year. I was here in September 2025 and asked the manager to refund one of my two nights so I could leave. She said the noise wasn't the hotel's problem and didn't seem to care that I wanted to go. I agree the hotel isn't responsible for construction across the street, but twelve hours of it each day makes staying here worse than being at home. Expedia wouldn't refund me once I was already there, and I had no idea it would be this bad. The manager said she wouldn't mind staying here. I bet she wouldn't bring her family. I prayed the noise would stop before bedtime. Please think twice if you plan to spend time at the property. If you only need somewhere to sleep, leaving early and coming back after 8 p.m., it might work. I just wanted a refund for the night I wouldn't stay. Manager, please respond with something more helpful than saying the noise isn't your fault. You could tell guests about the 12 noisy hours or offer a discount.

The pool was nice, the price was good, and the windows did a decent job. Our room faced the busy main street, which was super noisy with the windows open, but we didn't hear much once they were shut. There were two of us in the room, but they only gave us one key and refused a second, even though sometimes we went out separately. There were stains on the sheets. The hot water didn't work the first night, though they fixed it, and it still took at least ten minutes to get warm water. The air conditioning only worked with the key, so after being out all day we came back to a very hot room.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and soundproof, and the AC works well. Breakfast is good. The shower pressure is low, and the pillows are only half the usual size.

I canceled and left after the front desk staff brushed me off when I tried to ask a question. They were rude and dismissive. They didn't speak English, which is totally fine, so I used Google Translate to ask whether early check-in was allowed. The woman cut me off before my phone had even finished speaking. I'd gone out of my way to be polite, but they wanted nothing to do with me. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you speak Spanish. Maybe Spanish speakers at least get basic courtesy.
