We were completely satisfied from start to finish. Everything was very clean, and the food was delicious. Emmy helped with my reservations and was always polite and ready to help. Martin at the front desk was lovely too, and a shout out to the younger guy working at night. He put up with our crazy family and couldn’t have been nicer or given better service. Everyone there is so polite. Thank you, Hotel San Jo, for the excellent service!

The third-floor open-air veranda is great, and the whole place has a bit of an open-air Embassy Suites feel. The hotel is about five years old, right on the main street downtown, and super clean. The online photos are accurate, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Emmy and Martin made us feel especially welcome. We stayed three nights without any problems and became friends with them and their children, as well as other local friends. We’ll definitely return to visit. Breakfast and lunch are served in the lobby restaurant, which is impeccably clean and has a nice range of options. El Capulin is a short drive away, and the street tacos are a must. Just ask Martin and Emmy!

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were very clean, and the hotel looks new. The staff were kind, and they have cute bicycles for getting around town. San Jose Parish is very close by.

You’re only a few steps from the main plaza and church, so the location is perfect. The rooms are comfortable and the service is good. Breakfast was okay, though it could be better.

Clean, pleasant hotel with fresh towels every day. The service was great, and I’d recommend staying here.
