You're right in the heart of San Juan, a block and a half from the Museum of Death. It's a very basic place for saving money, suited to backpackers or anyone needing a few hours or a couple of days. The family running it is very friendly and helpful. Don't expect a 5-star experience.

You need to get there before 10 pm, since they close then and don't let anyone in or out for security reasons. It's recommended for short stays, with decent rooms and hot water. Adding WiFi would make it more worthwhile.

08 02 22. What a change! They've remodeled and put money into the place, and the water is finally hot. They still need to replace the blankets and sheets and get a slightly thicker comforter, and there are a few holes that haven't been fully patched. It's improved overall, so I'm giving them two more stars, though it's still pretty basic and neglected in places. Before, it was austere, with lukewarm water, and they needed to put in a lot of effort.
