Capital O Hotel Joyma Suites, San Luis

They charge 550pesos per night, which is very misleading. At night, people keep talking loudly and constantly, so you can't sleep. Nobody seems to respect the fact that guests want to rest.

Good place.

For 600 a night, it’s perfect, with hot water and Wi-Fi. The beds are hard, there’s only one sheet, and the walls are so thin you hear everything.

On my first stay in San Luis Potosi, I was surprised the hotel didn’t provide even basic amenities, not even a bottle of water. When you ask the front desk for a glass or some water, they just say, “Oh, they just finished.” Nights are noisy, and you can hear everything from other rooms. The towels are stiff and frayed, and the hours are terrible. They say there’s a minibar, but it doesn’t work, it’s just for show. I don’t think I’ll return, even if it costs you. I’d rather stay somewhere else and at least get shampoo, water, and excellent towels.
