La Posada Hotel & Suites

I waited an hour for the manager, and the service was terrible. The hotel said it was pet friendly, but then wouldn't accept my pet or refund the reservation. Bookings called and got no answer, and their email also went unanswered. Now I have to deal with disputing the credit card charge. Avoid this hotel, they lie and will steal your money.

It was as advertised, clean, with a good breakfast, and the service was great. I only wish the rooms had a microwave or mini fridge, but that's just my preference.

For a budget hotel, it was quite good, though nothing special. We booked three rooms and all were fine: spacious, quiet, seemed clean, and had comfortable beds. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend the buffet breakfast, it tasted very good. The pool was closed during my visit. The gym only has two machines, both for cardio. Two things disrupted our stay: at 8 in the morning, the maids woke us by banging on the doors, and hotel remodeling meant noisy construction workers were right outside our window in the morning.

The staff are nice, and there's a pool. It's a decent place to stay, though I'd personally prefer a hotel downtown. If you're driving your own vehicle, the Juarez distributer is nearby and gets you out to any part of town.
