Hotel Real Plaza

A comfortable place in a great spot. Centro histórico is just a short walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops close by.

The rooms are spacious and clean, with good views of the surroundings. The hotel is conveniently located by a main road, and you can walk to the historic center in a short time.

The PRESIDENTIAL suite has huge common areas and enormous bedrooms, including a king room and double queen room. Each room has closets and a shower, and the furniture in the shared areas is large too. There's no kitchen or pantry with serving dishes, but it does come with a medium-sized refrigerator and a microwave. The staff are very friendly and will accommodate your needs to a fair extent. I've stayed in rooms where plumbing or electrical noise became a nuisance, so keep that in mind if you're traveling with hypersensitive kids with enhanced hearing. It could affect whether they sleep. Otherwise, I really have no complaints. The food is great, the location is good, and the staff are awesome. I recommend staying here.

The rooms were clean, and the breakfast buffet was very nice. It's an upscale hotel with nice rooms and plenty of amenities. The elevators were a hassle. They're new, but only one seemed to work from what I saw. My roommate said she saw both running, but either way, they stop moving when they reach a limit of about seven people. That made the waits unpleasant, so I usually took the stairs. The hallway music was also a little too loud for me, though maybe I'm nitpicking. On my only and final night, I found an English-language channel showing "Anaconda 4." It was so bad that it became one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. 5/5 for the movie, 4/5 for the hotel.
