Casa del Tio Hotel Boutique

The terrace was a lovely place for breakfast, with great views of the surrounding mountains and church steeples. The location was also great, with everything a short walk away. My room was a little small, and there wasn't a proper dresser, just an armoire for hanging clothes. We arrived Tuesday and went home Sunday. Fireworks on Saturday night continued until Sunday morning and kept us awake.

The quiet rooftop terrace is the best spot, with spectacular views across SMA. We booked two rooms, and both were very quiet. The staff were friendly and helped us with the car. There's no on-site parking, which is common for downtown hotels in SMA. Casa del Tio is a small hotel in downtown San Miguel, about 400 m from the main square, the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel, and nearby attractions. Breakfast here is only a small cold one, but a full breakfast is also included at the sister hotel Casa Don Quijote, 650 m downhill. First visit, and we'll be back.

The rooms were comfortable, and the service was great. It's a nice place near the city center. The full breakfast is delicious, though it's a 5-10 minute walk away.

The terrace has a marvelous view, and if you want a bigger breakfast, the hotel gives you a coupon for a different hotel about a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast here is very light, just coffee, fruit, yogurt, and pastries. I stayed two nights, and found the room clean and comfortable. The staff were really nice and helpful, and the location near the city center was very convenient. I'd definitely stay again.
