Don Pascual gave D&K’s wedding a backdrop full of character. We photographed the day here, and all the murals and little corners made it feel like a private art gallery. That was exactly what the couple loved about the venue. It was a dream setting for photos. The layout worked beautifully from getting ready through the first look and couple’s pictures, and the upper terrace looks out over town. The church mass was the only part held elsewhere. Afterward, the couple arrived back in their vintage convertible, a seriously iconic moment. Cocktails were in the front yard, then the terrace was transformed for the reception, with the pool covered by the setup. Their backgrounds, he from Hawaii and she from Ecuador, made the day feel personal, especially during the first look and later in the evening. The speeches were wonderful too, particularly the groom’s nieces, who had everyone in tears. Huge thanks to the team at Don Pascual and Rox from Santo Amor for making things run so smoothly. For a creative, intimate wedding with a story behind it in SMA, this place is something special.

Hector and his team made getting around easy, with fair prices for airport pickup and drop-off and affordable rides to different spots in San Miguel. Javier Trujillo, their friendly driver, was great. We were really pleased with the personal service and would highly recommend staying here. Thank you! Felix

The rooms were thoughtfully done, right down to the lovely sheets, towels, and decor. The Jacuzzi was a wonderful surprise, and breakfast cooked by Mrs. Margarita was amazing. Mr. Sergio was magnificent, and Eric was so warm and friendly. This hotel feels magical, and the service is superb. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Up on a hill, this gorgeous Villa was quiet, and we had the whole house to ourselves during our weekday stay. It’s about a ten-minute walk into San Miguel proper, which felt worth it for the peace and quiet. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast had tasty choices. The one snag was that it got cold at night and we couldn’t work out how to turn on the gas stove.

We were impressed by the value at Casa Don Pascual. The rooms are huge and quiet, and breakfast is included. It had everything my wife and I needed, while costing less than half what a hotel in the town center would have. Most restaurants and attractions were just a 10-minute taxi ride away, for under $5.00 USD. If you want a good hotel for a great price, give this one a shot.
