Hotel Tres Raices

The service was excellent, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and spread out, and we enjoyed every meal at the main restaurant. We had a wonderful stay at this unique hotel. We’d come back and stay longer next time.

The place was still under construction when I visited, but the service was great and they did everything they could to accommodate us. The food was really good, and the wine was fantastic. Gabriel did an excellent job with the tasting. A winery loses me when the staff act arrogant, but everyone here was kind. Rafael was attentive, friendly, and kind, and made the experience even better. If they keep looking after staff like this and rewarding their kindness, they’ll keep getting five stars from me, and I’ll keep coming back.

We started with a Merlot and three appetizers, which gave our table of six plenty to share before dinner. The ravioli I had was packed with flavor and had lots of meat, and my niece's linguine with chicken was cooked just right. We shared two desserts afterward, and both were generous portions we enjoyed. Rafael took wonderful care of us, knew his wines, and made my mother's birthday feel special. The weather, music, and atmosphere all came together perfectly. Great wine, food, and service. Muchas Gracias, and I can't wait to come back!

Cesar, the manager, made the whole stay feel special. He arranged the ride to and from our home in San Miguel de Allende, the wine tasting, dinner reservations, and breakfast, then welcomed us at the winery like old friends and checked in to make sure everything was going well. We won the package at a charity auction and used it for a romantic holiday getaway with my husband. The suite was spacious, with its own terrace and little fire pit, where we had wine and dessert after dinner. It was a lovely touch. The big bathroom had a shower for two, the king bed was comfortable, and the shutters kept the room dark for sleeping. Each suite module also gave us plenty of privacy. We liked the pool area, and the grounds are gorgeous. The wines were very good, with a few that really stood out. Everyone at Tres Raices treated us so well, and we can't wait to bring friends when they visit in February. We highly recommend Tres Raices, and have so many good things to say about Cesar!
