Beware. My wife, our daughter, my niece, and I stayed at the Mansion hotel from July 1st to the 3rd, 2025. On arrival, hotel employees asked for our car keys so they could park the car, and we paid for parking. At dawn on our departure day, a stranger knocked for a while on our room door while we were asleep. He was looking for a woman we didn't know. We thought he was confused, but then he went on knocking on other rooms. Around 10am, we told an employee we were leaving and asked for the car. They took a very long time, and after we'd waited more than an hour, the manager came to tell us it had been stolen. We later learned the hotel had been unattended for several hours overnight. There were no other guests, hotel staff, or security, so we were all alone. The stranger had entered without permission, disconnected the security cameras, and stolen the car keys from the hotel office. I identified him from neighboring security camera footage. We were shocked and disappointed. Thankfully nobody was hurt, though it could have been much worse. Filing a police report took all day, and we couldn't leave until about 9pm. The manager, Carmen, and hotel employees apologized. Carmen said the hotel promised to pay what was necessary to cover our loss and time. A month later, we were told the car had been found, apparently the day after it was stolen. It had spent all that time in the car pound, where it was badly damaged and cost us a lot. We thought the hotel would take responsibility. We didn't ask them to cover everything we'd spent, only a smaller amount. They agreed to pay it in two installments, half one month and half the next. They paid the first but later refused to make the second. The hotel's negligence caused us a lot of trouble for over a month. They should have compensated us for all of it, but wouldn't even complete the second payment they'd promised.

The rooftop is gorgeous for watching the sunset, and this charming old-school hacienda felt like a castle. I felt like royalty there. The fresh continental breakfast was included and kept me going on long walks. My room and the daily cleaning were immaculate, shout-out to Adriana. Jorge helped arrange services, and Homer was always there for you.

Mansión San Miguel by Concordia had a peaceful feel, and I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm and helpful.

We were there over Christmas, and Thomas was amazing. It's a bit up the hill, but the communal rooftop terrace has a great view.
