Casa Dahlia Queretaro

We couldn't stay there and had to leave, even though we'd only planned to spend two nights. The place was infested with cockroaches and bedbugs, coming out in the kitchen, bathroom, and furniture. There was no hot water or kitchen utensils, the refrigerator didn't work and had spoiled milk inside, and the shower curtain was filthy. There wasn't any dish soap or bath soap either. The water jug looked like it had been sitting there forever, covered in dust and grease, and the mattresses were ancient. The service was terrible, and the house badly needs maintenance. I absolutely wouldn't recommend staying there.

The location is good and the house is fine, but it needs upkeep. It smelled really bad when we arrived, and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. The train is the downside of the location.

The house is noisy at all hours because it's so close to the train tracks, making it hard to sleep. The mattresses are old and sag in places, there are cockroaches, and the bathroom smells bad. The area also didn't feel safe to walk around at night, even between 7 and 10 pm. It was listed as having two bathrooms, but there's only one available. The other is locked away in what seems to be a utility room in the backyard.

I found it safe and quiet, with a very nice host and a great, central location. For me, it was 10 out of 10. The earlier reviews I saw didn't match my experience at all.
