Breakfast was a real plus: tasty, buffet-style, and with plenty to choose from. The location is great too, and the staff are friendly. Our room had a few problems, though. There was no hot running water when we arrived, so we had cold showers, and one mattress was worn out. Water splashed all over the bathroom because the shower had no door or curtain, and the towels looked noticeably worn. If you’re on a budget and aren’t too particular about comfort, it could still work.

We were treated with so much kindness, especially the senior citizen I was traveling with. The restaurant staff were great too. Our room was tidy and very clean, and we both slept comfortably. I’d booked just one day at Hotel Bedd, then extended our stay by two more. Thanks so much, we’ll be back!

The tours say they’ll bring you back to the hotel, but they only pick you up there. On the return, everyone gets dropped off downtown, and the driver/guide goes very fast. The reception staff are friendly. Also, don’t expect the pool to be as big as the photo makes it look, it’s actually very small. The sheets smelled awful, like they’d been used and not changed.
