The staff were really nice and helpful, and the hostel was very, very clean. Prices are excellent, and they’re flexible if you need to change your dates. It’s the best hostel around ''El Centro'', with everything within walking distance, about 10 minutes from the cathedral and other important places. There’s a restaurant inside too, with amazing prices if you want something to eat.

The hostel’s location is great, but that’s the one star. The pillows were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. When we went out in the evening, they insisted we leave our key with them, which made us feel uneasy about our belongings. The reception staff also seemed very sneaky. We called an hour before arriving, and a man quoted 580mxn per night for a room. When we got there, the woman at reception said no basic rooms were left and we’d need to upgrade, but the larger room was only 600mxn, just 20mxn more. The man from the phone was there and backed her up. We argued, and he denied being the person we’d spoken to, saying someone had booked the room in the past hour. After taking our details for 15 minutes and asking us to pay, he quoted 680mxn per night. We were angry and ready to go elsewhere, then he said a basic room at the original 580mxn price was available after all. He apologized and claimed he remembered the call now, saying three people had booked rooms and he’d got confused. It all seemed like a lie to push us into paying more.

A nice, comfortable and quiet place for a good price. You can reserve online through booking. There are lots of family activities, and they can use the bicycles for free. What a great place.

A really nice, peaceful place near Queretaro’s main downtown street. There’s a ping pong table, plus hot water and a TV in the room.

The room was clean, and the hotel was okay. My only concern was the door leading to the courtyard, which was accessible from the street and didn’t feel very safe.
