Residencia Ximatario

For $610 a night, I think it's well worth it for the location and price, and I'd definitely return. The room was very clean and came with a double bed, private bathroom, fan, flat-screen TV, table and chairs, towels, two rolls of toilet paper, and soap. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful the whole time. I found it on maps and thought at first it might have closed, but I called and a really friendly person answered. They have several other locations. It's very close to the Oxxo where the QRO Ride buses pick up. There's also an Oxxo nearby, a Super Q, and I think I saw a taco place too.

They had my reservation number, but the room they'd booked for us wasn't available when we arrived. The alternatives they offered were completely different, and the service was poor. They didn't honor the reservation and told us to try one of the other two hotels in their chain. I don't recommend this place, and I wouldn't go back to their hotel or hostel chain.

We booked the family room because the listing promised two double beds and a private bathroom. Instead, we got a bunk bed in a room with no window, no ventilation, and no bathroom. The girl who checked us in said the hostel doesn't have any rooms with bathrooms. What a rip-off.

The rooms are great value for money, and the staff are extremely friendly. It's an excellent place, and I'd definitely recommend it.
