We were the only two guests in the hotel, so it was very quiet, and the views were really good. The restaurant food was very good too, and there were no bugs in our room. The carpets needed cleaning, and the furniture was old and battered. The main disappointment was that no one would unlock the gate to Cola de Caballo, even after we asked twice, so we couldn’t see the falls.

A terrible stay. They charged me twice, then never got back to me when I tried contacting them. The room was dirty, the sheets were filthy, and the towels smelled bad. It was extremely disgusting. Avoid this place if you can.

Everything smelled bad and was dirty, and we had just two towels. I went to the lobby for more and was told they’d bring them to the room, but they never did. There was no hot water either. The AC didn’t work all night, so we all had to strip down. Maintenance couldn’t fix it, and everyone else in the building was complaining. The door card didn’t work, so guests had to keep going back for an actual key. That should’ve been my sign to run. Worst experience ever. Run, don’t stay here!

The view was nice, but the rooms smelled of mold and seemed neglected and very dated. There was no toilet seat, lamp, or power outlet, and the mattress was hard. No parking by the unit, no elevator, and the restaurant was closed. We drove to the waterfalls after all, even though you could walk there, because we weren’t staying more than one night.

We handed the key back less than ten minutes after checking in. The carpet looked like something out of The Shining, and the whole place was old, moldy, smelly, and clearly not maintained. The mattress was an old spring type, nowhere near what you’d expect in a modern hotel. One star is too generous, this place should be condemned. Don’t stay here or waste your money. Read the other reviews.
