The staff were so accommodating and kind that they felt like friends by the time I left. I’ll stay here again when I come back to Tulum. I liked having no food on site, since it got me out exploring. There’s plenty to eat and do within walking distance, and bikes are another option. It’s a central spot, but tucked away and quiet, with very spacious rooms. If you’re in your 30s or older and done with hostel DJs blasting music until 1 a.m., this place could be a great fit. Good value for a peaceful stay with lovely staff.

You can wake up to the jungle and a beautiful mural here, while still being right in the center of Tulum, near lots of restaurants and the ADO bus station. It feels like a hidden little jungle retreat. The details make the boutique hotel feel special, especially the romantic heart theme and the room numbers in Mayan numerals. Rooms are roomy, the waterfall showers are great, and there’s air conditioning and good Wi-Fi. The staff were lovely and helpful, from keeping our luggage when we arrived early to suggesting places to eat and things to do.

We had a balcony looking over the garden, with a table, chairs, and a hammock, which was great. The ADO bus station is only a short walk away. We stayed in May, during the low season, so it was very quiet. The rooms are huge, and the bed, shower, and air conditioning all worked well. The owner is adding another 12 rooms, so there was some dust around, but no construction was happening while we were there. We left our bags in the locked room, including my backpack with a camera and Macbook, and had no problems.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the location is handy for the ADO bus station. But the noise was the worst we’ve had at any hotel in Mexico. The rooms barely block sound. While we were there, a concert happened without warning in the public space behind the hotel. We could hear it perfectly from our room, and the bass made the bed shake until 3 a.m. There are noisy bars nearby too. So I was surprised to see other reviews call it a quiet place.

We had a big, clean room with a massive bathroom, a TV with Netflix, and the best shower of all the hotels we’ve stayed at in Mexico. It was much cheaper too. The bed and pillows were okay, the staff were friendly, and the garden was nice. The hotel is on the main street, so there’s some noise, but it didn’t bother us. Our room didn’t feel very private because the large glass doors faced a path where guests and staff walked past. We’d suggest an upstairs room with a balcony. There were lots of mosquitoes, as elsewhere in Tulum, but staff gave us spray and it helped.
