Pacific Inn Sayulita

We enjoyed the rooftop pool both times we went up, and had the whole area to ourselves. The roof also has great sunset views. The hotel was very clean, the staff friendly, and it’s about a 10-minute walk downtown. Noise from the main road can be a bit much, and the roosters start crowing long before sunrise.

We got a comfortable room at a good price at the last minute on a Saturday. Dixie was great to work with. The building felt secure and had enough parking. There was shampoo and conditioner in the shower, good water pressure, and a convenience store downstairs. We didn’t use the rooftop pool, though it looked nice when we passed it. Everything we needed was there, but a small fridge would have helped. A good stay for the value.

The hotel is up on a hill, so the walk down to the beach and back is a real slog.

The rooms themselves were pretty nice, but the service made the stay frustrating. We waited outside for about an hour before anyone checked us in. Later, at 11:30, a worker switched off the upstairs lounge lights while we were getting ready to leave. Nobody had warned us, and although they told us the lounge closed at 10 pm, there were no signs and other people were still there when we arrived. The way the worker spoke to us was rude. Muy mal servicio, te verde is more a place to sleep than to have fun like other places, and I understand that, but the worker was still rude when explaining things. That's it, goodbye.
