Hotel Ecce Inn & Spa

I found the hotel remarkably quiet, apart from the occasional plane landing nearby, and the bed was extremely comfortable with new Egyptian-thread sheets. The shower was roomy and hot, and the large refrigerator worked very well. The tiled floors were a plus too, with no dirty-carpet smell because there isn't any carpet. The security felt excellent: guards let you onto the property, and the small patio door locks. The pool looked well cared for, and I believe it's heated. Guests were using it as I left. There's a gym too, which I didn't try, but it looked nice. The people at the desk made mixed impressions. The night staff member was very helpful, and her love for her job and appreciation of her bosses really showed. At checkout, the daytime desk staff member, Natalia, wasn't exactly rude, but she stayed on her phone call instead of answering my questions. The guest standing in front of you should come first. Other employees were quite helpful, especially Ramiro, who walked me to my room on arrival to check that everything worked. I was especially interested in the sala de autos, with its beautiful classic cars. I think they belong to the owner, though that's only a guess. I've owned 36 classic and sports cars and six motorcycles over the years, so that room caught my attention. I didn't try the restaurant this time, but I'll save it for my next visit. I'll take photos then too. This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Guanajuato State, a real hidden gem.
