They advertise hot water in the shower, but it was only available on the first day, and even then it was just warm. I told the front desk, and they said they’d look into it. Nothing changed.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was close to the places we wanted to visit. It was clear they keep things clean, but the room we had seemed to have mold and could use more upkeep.

I liked having a restaurant attached and a pool where little ones could play, and the stay was comfortable. The big walk-in shower was a plus, as were the signs about how much cleanliness matters to them. The colorful exterior has an unusual, intriguing look, though inside it felt a little dated. My mattress was lumpy and seemed old.

The staff were nice, and I was grateful they were able to move us to another room. Our first room was so hot that the complimentary water bottles had expanded. We had to ask for the AC remote, and it only had one battery. The restaurant was closed, too. I’m from Texas, so I can’t say how it compares with other places nearby, though it looked like the nicest one we saw.

We looked the place over, got a fair rate, paid by credit card, and had no problems. It’s a simple hotel, but a pleasant one, and the pool was nice.
