Luna Azul

There are shopping centers, movie theaters, and other services only a few blocks away, and the location is convenient. My room had good amenities, and I could use the shared kitchen to cook. The bathroom showers could be cleaner, though. I saw small animals in those areas.

The room had a sitting area and mini-fridge, along with the essentials for a comfortable night or a bit of relaxation. The rooms are very nice. The downside is there’s no parking, and the street is dark and deserted. It’s on the other side of the Sam's Club fence.

I paid $1300 for two nights and couldn't sleep because I was afraid of getting bitten by the bedbugs I found in the bed. The bathroom door didn't close, as if it didn't fit its frame. They gave me just one and a half rolls of toilet paper for the whole stay. I was supposedly going to get a refund after reporting the bedbugs, but the hotel owner hasn't taken responsibility for this terrible service.

Luna Azul has a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and a station where the host leaves coffee, water, two glasses, and two mugs. I also liked the little terrace for reading or having a refreshing drink. It’s in a central spot, about an eight-minute walk from Galerías, beside Sam's Club, and near the bus stop for Playa Maderos, Playa Linda, and downtown. This week, though, the area has had internet connection problems because of technical issues.
