Hotel Magno Tepatitlan

The location near the center was great, and the hotel was very clean. One night I left my car lights on in the downstairs garage and drained the battery. The front desk helped arrange a jumpstart, and the customer service was very helpful throughout. A great stay.

We couldn’t stand the sewer smell in our room all night. When I asked the front desk lady to move us, she offered only a downgrade from a king to a full-size bed, even though everything was already paid for. I had to argue just to get that room change option, so I left and found somewhere else to stay that night. The staff were very unfriendly, and this was the worst hotel service I’ve ever had. If you want to enjoy your vacation in Tepatitlán, don’t stay there.

The hotel has a bit of a throwback feel and a small common area where you can sit and chat with family or friends. It’s close to the town center, handy for going out to get something since there’s no food service. There’s safe parking, Wi-Fi, spacious beds, and friendly staff. It was quiet and comfortable.

I had a good stay, though there’s no refrigerator in the room. I was traveling with my one-year-old, so keeping her milk cold was a bit of a problem. Management kindly offered to put it in the office fridge, which was pretty cool.
