The place has a really good location, and the room is set up with everything you need. The two things that made the stay difficult were the stairs and the noise. The spiral staircase is so narrow that only one person can use it at a time, and getting suitcases up or down is a real struggle. Also, the tenants or owners, I’m not sure which, have loud parties and get-togethers on Fridays and Saturdays without much regard for others. Apart from those problems, it’s very good.

There are only two bathrooms for the whole house, and no washer or dryer. The bedroom doors don’t shut right, the furniture is old, and the family photos feel creepy. The house itself seems to be falling apart, with too few electrical outlets and plenty of other issues.

The bathrooms were awful, and the shower water wouldn’t drain properly. The house smelled strongly of sewage and was filthy, with spoiled food left in the microwave. The kitchen was disgusting too. The photos only show the cabinets closed, but inside they were dirty and had things left by other guests. The closets were in poor shape and dirty, almost all the outlets didn’t work, and there were obstacles around the refrigerator plug that made it feel unsafe to get to. I stayed here recently with my family, and it was far from pleasant. The mattresses badly need replacing, so we couldn’t get proper rest. The towels were like gauze, stiff enough to stand up by themselves, and half of them stuck to your body when drying off. Years ago the house may have been in decent condition, but that wasn’t our experience. I’ve stayed in other similar old places, and none came close to being this dirty. Don’t choose this house just because of its stars. The owner seems to care only about the rating and was completely inflexible and unreliable. Be honest in your reviews, since people are drawn in by the stars and can end up with an unpleasant surprise. Don’t make deals based on those stars. People like this don’t deserve it.

The room got direct sun all day and was extremely hot, with only a fan. I rented the upstairs for a month, and the price was reasonable for what was offered. The house was somewhat run down, and we found cigarette butts. They also came into the rooms to do maintenance while we were out. Nothing went missing, but it made us uncomfortable. Things were fine until other tenants moved in. Then he told us to park on the street because parking wasn’t included, even though I’d specifically asked for that space when booking since we had tools in the car. He called us at 9 PM to say we had to leave, and he was very rude. He deducted the parking fee from my 2000 peso deposit. We left before our rental period ended, but he still took a while to return the money. I think he wanted our Nissan Tsuru left outside. His argument was, “I've left Volvos outside and nothing's ever happened.” That didn’t address my concern. He should spell out the details and be clear about what’s required, even in writing if it’s not through an app. It was a very bad experience with him. He was dishonest and showed no empathy.
