This was our third visit, and we love this modern, family-owned hotel. The welcome is friendly every time and makes us feel at home. Our rooms have been modern, clean, nicely decorated, and really good. The food and drinks were spot on, and it's an easy place to unwind. It's also close to the city center, so exploring is simple. We went horseback riding nearby too, which was fun. We always have a great stay and recommend it if you want somewhere relaxed that feels like a home away from home.

We barely left Casa de Agua during our stay, and didn’t step out at all until checkout. It was that peaceful and restorative. The Presidential Suite was roomy and romantic, with thoughtful touches throughout, and the architecture felt warm and unlike anywhere else. The people made the place especially memorable. Donovan, Alfredo, and Orio kept everything running smoothly and made things feel personal. George cooked some of our favorite meals in Mexico, with so much care. Esperanza and Paola gave us deeply relaxing massages, and the temazcal was a powerful, spiritual experience we won’t forget. Casa de Agua is a beautiful hidden gem away from the bustle of Tepoztlán. From the moment we arrived, everyone treated us more like friends than guests. One of the best resort stays we’ve had, and we’d recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for real rest. Thank you all so much.

We’d rented the entire hotel for a lovely funeral after-party, but they shut us down at 9pm. The service was terrible and rude.

The food is outstanding, and the sunsets are perfect. The design is exquisite too. This is our new go-to hotel in Tepoztlán.

The pool and hotel look beautiful, but the room and bed were both very small, and the bathroom layout gave almost no privacy. We didn’t feel welcome, and they tried to charge us the wrong amount. With service and hospitality like that, the price just isn’t justified. I won’t be back.
