Hotel Teocalli

The property was beautiful, and we really loved staying at this little hotel. Everyone was kind and accommodating, especially Marco, who made us feel welcome. We also had great massages!

My friends and I spent two nights at this charming hotel, and leaving the place that felt like home was so hard ❤️ The hospitality and service were beyond anything we expected. We loved everything from the moment we arrived. Mucho Gracias 🙏

We had a really bad stay in March 2025. I’m only posting this now because what Marcus describes in a comment further down sounds just like what happened to us. We booked one night and paid through Booking. The room and property looked far from the promotional photos on the website, and the amenities seemed badly worn. The mattress was dirty, and we suspected bed bugs. They did replace it, but we still asked for a refund because of that concern and the sewage smell in the room. After a long discussion, the older, polite man renting the place to us promised we’d be refunded through Booking. We later called the hotel several times to remind them of that commitment. They repeatedly claimed they’d authorized Booking to refund us, but Booking, which was handling our customer request, said it had received nothing from the hotel. Booking also said the hotel stopped responding to its requests. I’m sharing this to warn future guests about what I see as the owner’s dishonesty, and about how unreliable the photos on the official website and Booking were compared with the actual place.

Small, quiet, and really friendly owners and staff. I loved the cute little garden and all the sweet details in the room. We chose the master plus room for its mountain view, and it was just right, simple but comfortable. The air conditioner worked well and the basic amenities were there. I’d happily stay again.
