That bed was a dream. I slept deeply and restfully, which isn't always what happens on a work trip. Gloriagave Hotel ended up being a last-minute lifesaver, and such a gem. I needed somewhere to stay for work and remembered this spot near the holy land of tequila. From the quiet, unassuming street, you'd never guess what waits behind the huge wooden doors. Inside, the style is sophisticated without being showy. The thoughtful design, materials, equipment, and imagery honor tequila's history while mixing heritage with modern comfort. There are large wooden doors, iron-fitted windows onto the courtyard, and little touches throughout that make it feel like a comfortable home with a hint of a castle. I've traveled extensively around Mexico, and Gloriagave is easily one of my top choices for price, quality, luxury, and service. Stay here!

There isn't dining on site, though Casa Salles is an easy walk for dinner or drinks. That was the only downside for our group. The place is charming, with spacious, clean, well-appointed rooms and a lovely rooftop terrace for relaxing. Everyone on staff was friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our stay and agreed we'd book here again.

It's an easy walk into town, and being a little outside downtown meant it wasn't too loud. The hotel is really pretty, with a comfortable bed. There's a rooftop pool with views over some agave fields, plus a cute little spot with tables where you can read.

A great place to unwind after a day of Tequila sipping. The rooftop pool is spotless, with lovely views, loungers, tables, and chairs. The rooms are spotless too and very well appointed. The guys who run the place are friendly, helpful, and clearly take good care of it. It's tucked away, but Tequila Fortaleza is only a four-minute walk away, which is a big bonus. For breakfast, skip the walk into town and try Bienaugurio cafe & compañia, a small rooftop cafe nearby. There are no signs, so trust Google maps and go in through the spa. Fabulous little place.
