The room was clean and nicely decorated, with nothing broken or tacky, and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The problems started with the $250 peso price increase between booking and check-in. The mini split AC units only blew air without cooling, and the ceiling fan had just two settings, slow and stop. TV reception was awful on every channel. After check-in, the front desk was hard to find; when I asked about the AC or TV, staff disappeared and left the desk. We were handed only two bath towels at check-in, and had to return them at checkout. They say they take cards, but only accepted cash when we checked in.

You can reach lots of restaurants and tequila tours without driving, which is a great location. Parking is very limited, though, and if you get a space, you could lose it by taking your car out. Our room had several damaged things: the AC controller barely worked, the doorknobs were coming apart, and both the bed frame and blinds were damaged. If comfort and condition aren’t a big concern, it’s fine for a night, but I didn’t find it very comfortable.

The location is prime, but the room was poor. We had room 12 on the ground floor. The bathroom window wouldn’t shut, the sink leaked, and water covered the toilet area. There was mold on the sink. Nothing else was good.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the staff were rude. They said card payment was accepted, then refused the card and tried to charge me the card commission anyway. They even sent me to a bank that wasn’t mine. Worst stay I’ve had.
