Hotel Guillen Jr

So far, so good. We're planning to stay a few days, so I'll write another review in a few days. The room is tiny, but the bed is big and has three huge, fluffy pillows. The shower gets hot and has good pressure, and the TV is a nice size. They also sell cold drinks and a few snacks in the office. Cool place!

The staff were accommodating when my Spanish faltered. They opened Google Translate so we could make ourselves understood. We slept so well the first night in the big, comfortable bed, and with the car in a private garage next to the room, we felt extra safe. We nearly missed checkout. Once we found out they still had rooms, we booked a second night.

It's an ultra-budget motel, but the door locks, the bed is decent, the shower and toilet work, and the WiFi is decent too. The huge downside is the noise from the road. I can't stress enough how nearly impossible it was to get a good night's sleep. My AC also didn't work. 🙁

You can pay only in cash, and there’s an overnight security guard in the parking lot. The property itself could use an upgrade.
