Quartz Care Hotel & Spa Tijuana

The service was great, and the staff were kind and friendly. The hotel looks nice, with high-end finishes, but it was somewhat dirty for the price. The taco restaurant across the street played loud music on weeknights from midnight to 1 a.m. At the spa, everything costs extra except the pool. Maybe lower the prices, clean better, and ask the neighbors to turn it down. You say you're a 4 star hotel!

The rooms were beautiful, with big windows and stunning views, and the food was great. I moved to the Quartz Hotel after a really difficult stay at another hotel, and the difference was immediate. I was shaken up by a traumatic experience earlier that day, though I hadn't explained what happened. One staff member seemed to sense it, offered me a hug, and then took me to my room. As a woman traveling alone, that small gesture meant everything. The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond. I'm grateful for the care and comfort they gave me.

The hot tub was a relaxing treat, and the garden was a peaceful place to get away. With great restaurants, a café, and a pharmacy all within walking distance, the location was handy too. We were here after my mom's surgery, and this place felt like a beautiful haven. The staff were so kind, the cleaners kept everything spotless, and breakfast was phenomenal. I'd definitely recommend it if you're coming for medical work.

We also had a room HVAC issue, with the heat stuck on, so we had to move rooms. The property in Tijuana is nice and the service was great, except at the spa. We booked a couples massage for 90 minutes, and the sauna and jacuzzi were included in the experience. After our massage, we wanted to use them, but the staff member said we couldn't because there were more appointments. We use spas in the USA, and that's never happened before. We paid for the full experience but were rushed out after the massage. Very disappointing.
