The location is great, and the people are very friendly. A church is a two-minute walk away and the gym is one minute away. There’s also a mall, Walmart, Sam’s Club, lots of shops and restaurants, all about five minutes on foot.

Room cleaning is only every seven days, there’s no parking, and the water pressure is so weak that showers take longer. The bed is uncomfortable too. This isn’t a good place for an extended stay. I was very disappointed, I’d rather sleep in a tent.

There’s a fast, spacious elevator, a workout room, a pool and a laundry room. The employees were nice and efficient. They don’t clean rooms every day, but you can ask for cleaning when you need it. I’ve stayed here before and would likely come back, though I’ll put my suitcase near the bed corner as a reminder to walk around it carefully. The location is handy, with stores and restaurants a short walk away. It’s a nicer neighborhood than most, right by the huge Mormon temple. Blue Luna is next door for specialty coffee and good food, and there’s an OXXO half a block away, plus a food truck park and full-service restaurants. My room was neat and clean, with a full-size refrigerator and a kitchenette. There were no dishes, pans or utensils, so you could cook only if you brought your own supplies. It also had a TV with a remote that let me connect my own device, drawers, a closet and an ironing board. I didn’t see an iron, but I didn’t ask for one. The bed was comfortable enough, although the pillows were lumpy. One thing bothered me: the bed frame sticks out beyond the mattress. Half asleep on the way to the bathroom at night, I hit my leg on it several times. One bump drew blood, but luckily I had a band-aid. Aside from that, it’s a peaceful, clean hotel with simple amenities that works well for a stay of several days.

The rooms were quiet and clean, and most of the property looked clean too. The pool water was cloudy and needs more frequent cleaning. Employees were cordial when I greeted them, but otherwise kept straight faces and didn’t speak. I booked five nights, and three of them had no running hot water. It had already been inconsistent, then on my third night there was none at all. Reception gave me key 104 for another room, but it had the same problem. I was told the whole hotel had no hot water, and there were no maintenance workers on site. My daughter and I saw several guests complaining about it in the lobby. I’m disabled and need hot water to manage my mobility and pain. My other guest used the pool but couldn’t take a hot shower afterward to clean up properly. I paid a high hotel rate for specific amenities, and they didn’t deliver. Reviews suggest this is a recurring problem, so I think prices should match the standard. From my experience as a building inspector, I strongly suspect they turn off the hot water at a certain time each day. When I tried showering late at night, it was lukewarm or cold. At checkout on Sunday, both accessible ramps out of the lobby were blocked by cars after a busy Saturday night. I’m disabled and couldn’t get my luggage cart out that way. I had a household’s worth of things to move from my room to my truck while changing housing, and this caused serious back complications. I wouldn’t recommend this place for an extended stay.
