Hotel Plaza Hermosa

The one good thing was that it was clean. The rest of the stay was awful, and the 1,000 pesos we paid didn't feel worth it. Our first room smelled terrible, so we asked to switch and got a smaller one. The TV couldn't be changed to another language, and the girl at the desk was rude. People outside my room were smoking, laughing, and making so much noise that I couldn't sleep. It ruined the stay, and we won't come back.

This was my second stay, and the room was comfortable again. The hot shower had strong pressure, and parking was free, though the lot is pretty small. It's not right downtown, but that distance means it doesn't sound like a zoo all night. There's a laundromat about 15 feet away. For a quick overnight or if you're trying to save a few bucks, it works well.

I like the hotel and the staff were friendly, but I don't think I'll return after the Municipal Police tortured me there for an hour. When I came back to collect my belongings, the manager was very sympathetic about the things the police hadn't stolen. I posted pictures of the two dirty cops who tortured me and took my cell phones.

I wanted to relax, but this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. They said the second night would be 40% off, and I feel they lied about it. I should have stayed at hotel Misión 11 or hotel Agua Rio. Stay away.
