Hotel West Plaza

The neighborhood worked really well for me. Revolution is nearby, with restaurants and ATMs close by, plus a small grocery store next door. I liked the mix of places around there and would stay again. The valet garage can fit tall vehicles, too, though there are no refunds. I was recovering from surgery, and communication was sometimes hard because most of the staff didn't speak English. Still, everyone was kind and helpful, and we found ways to understand each other. The food was the part I liked less. Most or possibly all of it seemed to be reheated frozen food. My room had no microwave, but the restaurant could reheat food for me.

The rooftop restaurant was a real highlight. The food was fantastic, and we loved sitting outside with tea, fresh air, sunshine, and a panoramic city view. The staff were so friendly and courteous. We were in town for dental appointments within walking distance, not on vacation, and Hotel West Plaza did a lot to make our stay feel comfortable and homey. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too.

Great spot, and really clean. We left the car at the hotel and walked to Revolution for drinks and a night out. It's just two blocks away, so the walk back was easy.

The room was comfortable, though it felt dark because there isn't a window facing outdoors. Coffee and water are available in the lobby around the clock, and we enjoyed breakfast on the lovely terrace. The staff were very pleasant. I'd definitely recommend this hotel in central Tijuana.
