Real del Mar Golf Resort & Spa

Waking up to that excellent ocean view from the rooms is something I could get used to. The place is lovely, though on the older side, and it's clean and well kept.

The staff were fantastic, so friendly, helpful, and supportive. I really enjoyed the villas, with their roomy spaces, nice kitchens, and great views. The carpet could use an update, though. The pool area was relaxing, but the jacuzzi needs hot water and working jets. I liked the village path layout, and the bar and patio were fun, with neat traditional decor. The restaurant served good food, and the snack bar by Golf had solid options for eating or drinking. The handy OXXO had most everything and stayed open late. Looking forward to another stay.

I drove down from the USA to Mexico hoping to play golf on 8/3/24. At the Pro Shop, I was told the course was full, even though there was no group at the first tee and two empty golf carts were sitting there. The golf shop guy was rude and incompetent. Apparently they were out of carts, but he could have offered to let me walk the course. You guys need better customer service.

I liked how quiet and safe it was, and the rooms had enough space for my family of 5. The men working there were very nice. At the little market, though, the big heavy lady with blonde hair was rude. She misplaced items, and you think you're getting something cheap, but end up paying regular US money. They only gave us two towels, our rooms weren't cleaned, and some things inside the room were broken.
