The young woman who checked us in was incredibly kind and attentive throughout, and the price was quite reasonable. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with a great layout, and I hope they take this feedback seriously because it could offer much better service. Our assigned room was in poor shape. It smelled strongly of damp, the plastic window couldn't be opened, and the old, torn mattresses were uncomfortable. The TV was old, and the sheets from the ISSSTE (Mexican Social Security Institute)? Haha, that really surprised me. The pillows were dirty, the toilet was clogged, and there was no hot water in the shower. Taking an ice-cold shower was quite an adventure. We told the manager, but nothing was done. The towels were made of a different fabric from regular ones and wouldn't dry us. Both the bathroom door and the front door stuck easily.

The pictures are very misleading, and $900 pesos for one night was outrageous for a room that didn't look clean as soon as we walked in. It seemed like the rooms weren't cleaned between guests. The bathroom smelled awful, and after two minutes there was already a cockroach on the toilet paper. The bed and towels looked filthy. We stayed less than two hours, then left, even though we'd paid. We'd rather lose the money than risk sleeping around cockroaches and bedbugs. Even the motorcycle taxi driver reacted with surprise when we told him where we were going. At the door, he said there was another hotel farther down the road that was much nicer and cleaner for our visit. I think he knew what we were about to find. DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

I had doubts after reading the Maps reviews, but my stay was truly lovely. I rented through Airbnb, and I'd encourage people to use their own judgment and see for themselves. It's a rustic place near the center of Tlayacapan, with affordable prices. Booking in person is cheaper than using the app. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the sheets, blankets, and bathroom were clean. Many thanks to Ayari, Jess, and Sebastián for being so hospitable.

We came as a family for a change of scenery, and that's just what we got. It's a comfortable place for kids and adults, with really nice themed rooms. They treated us very well and gave us great service. A great place!
