Corazón de Selva

I loved the covered, roomy spot for yoga, meditation, reading in a hammock, or just napping, and there’s a swimming pool too. The rooms are clean and welcoming, with natural materials and the owner’s creativity and sustainable thinking showing in the details. Corazón de Selva is a lovely little escape from Tulum’s crowds. There are swimming holes, shops, and good local food within 10 minutes. The owner and guest keeper is a lovely woman who speaks fluent English and is happy to help you make the most of a day there or point out good places nearby. I visited in January 2024 and am coming back this weekend in April 2024. I’m excited to return so soon. I hope others choose Corazon de Selva for a stop or a whole vacation too.

Pavlina’s warmth and genuine care made me feel at home. She went out of her way to make sure everything was right, and that really made my stay. Corazon de Selva Lodging sits in the jungle, with lush greenery and the calming sounds of nature all around. The rustic rooms are still comfortable and make a lovely place to get away from city bustle, unwind, and recharge. If you want a peaceful retreat with easy access to Tulum and the beautiful surroundings, I’d recommend it. It’s a nice mix of nature, comfort, and kind hospitality.

We went to Corazón de Selva last summer, and left amazed by how beautiful it was. The resort is surrounded by jungle, and Pavlína, the owner, greeted us with warmth and made us feel very welcome.

A comfortable, budget-friendly place for free spirits, with lovely decor. The hostess are kind and down to earth, and make you feel at home. The jungle scenery is picturesque and a great setting to be with nature and meditate for a bit of inner peace.
