Muaré & Spa Tulum

We loved it enough to come back for two extra nights. The whole place was so peaceful, and the pool and lounge areas stayed calm and relaxed. The rooms were clean, quiet, and well maintained, and the little plunge pool was lovely for cooling off after a sunny day. Food, drinks, and service were excellent, and the staff were kind and helpful. This was the most relaxing hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

We stayed ten nights in February and had a wonderful trip. Breakfast was included, and every meal we had was delicious. We especially loved the morning yoga with Andy, a perfect start to the day, and her recommendations for things to do and places to eat were fantastic. The reception team was quick to respond on WhatsApp, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is on some bumpy roads, but we had no trouble in a standard sedan as long as we drove slowly. La Veleta, with lots of good food options, is about a 15-minute walk away. Burrito Amor is a must. We preferred staying in Tulum town to the beach area, since it was much more affordable and had more places to try. The rooms and pool area were beautiful and very well kept. The spa, with its hot tub and plunge pool, was another relaxing spot. We’d highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Tulum.

The property had a wonderfully peaceful, spa-like atmosphere. There were no crowds or noise, just birds and a breeze, and the room was spotless thanks to the housekeeping team. The amenities were excellent and the spa was fantastic. We chose Hotel Muare for our wedding anniversary, and every part of the stay felt special. Before we arrived, Agustina took care of details with real thought and attention. Claudia at the front desk welcomed us warmly and stayed attentive, responsive, and respectful whenever we needed anything. Each morning, Mario greeted us with a smile and shared bits of Mexican history, which made breakfast memorable. It was an intimate, beautifully curated place for such a special occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary stay and will absolutely return. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene experience in Tulum.

The rooms are gorgeous, and the whole property feels like a retreat. It’s just the right distance between the hotel zone and Centro, close enough to everything while still quiet. I’d come back in a heartbeat. There’s no party atmosphere here. The place feels like a calm oasis away from busy areas, and even the other guests kept their voices down. The free daily yoga at 9am was a lovely way to start the day, and we never had trouble finding a day bed. There seemed to be two for every room. Breakfast is included and feels like a proper meal: fresh bread, fruit, coffee, juice, and an entree choice per person, cooked fresh and substantial. It’s probably my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
